Uhlinger had purchased the machinery from Hankins and proceeded to manufacture 22 and 32 rimfire revolvers of solid frame construction. This was an infringement of the Rollin White patent for bored through cylinders using metallic cartridges.

5" octagon barrel, about 10" overall. Metal parts have a medium patina overall, showing some strong traces of original blue finish and scattered uncleaned spots of rust. A .32 Wm. A very nice example of an Uhlinger, 6 shot, short cylinder, small frame revolver, serial #2000. The top of the barrel is marked “J.P. Lower,” a very well known arms dealer in Denver, Colorado.
